With tickers running above, below and on both sides and with multiple animations media is trying to convey the facts and figures. The fact to realize is that the audience in front of the screen varies in age groups. From children of 10 years, the age to the elderly who can barely move or speak properly is watching the news. Don’t we agree that the news delivered into the ears of listeners gets processed in the mind of the audience and have a huge impact on them? Even if not huge but slight impact still stays. Reading and watching reports of people dying and getting buried without a proper funeral and further raised a wave of anxiety and depression. Merely a cough or a sneeze these days is enough to scare an individual and compel him to lock themselves in a room or head to the hospital. These channels news channels are exhibiting only stressful material because that is the talk of the town. No matter what day or time it is. Anxiety in lockdown
People are taking COVID-10 prevention really seriously. They are staying inside and not touching their loved ones. This has also pushed people into a state of agony. Everyone is just worried about themselves as well as their family and friends. No human contact, no entertaining outings, no walking or jogging in the park, and no kissing or hugs friends has developed state of anxiety among the people.
